Last Minute Spring Wedding Preparations Checklist!

Here at Catering by Mario’s we are more than excited for Daylight Savings Time and the official kick off of the first day of spring. So you know what that means, wedding season is right around the corner. For all those lucky couples that have been planning the big day for days, months or years, here are some last minute preparations that should be checked.
You are “pretty sure” you got everything under control and in place for the big day. However, pretty sure might not cut it. So, don’t wait any longer than you already have and go over this short checklist of some major details that should be all worked out, although it’s ok if there not that is what the checklist is for!
Having everything set in place and arrangements made can be one of the most relieving feelings especially when it comes to planning such a huge event like a wedding. First up, be sure to contact all of your vendors. Whether it is last minute changes to the menu or making sure a caterer like Catering by Mario’s has the right order, it is important to confirm all aspects with everyone. Whether it is the music, photographer, or flower shop, follow up with all the key aspects of the big day so you know nothing will be missed.
Spring is a beautiful time of year and one of the most popular seasons to get married in. With the new blooms, green grass and sprouting scenery it makes for perfect photographs for the wedding album. After checking in with all your vendors be sure everything is finalized and paid for. The last thing you want on your wedding day is a bill, so get it out of the way and eliminate any added stress.
There are so many details that should be followed up on from creating a tip envelope to preparing a list of songs that you want to be played. By having money set aside for any aspect of the wedding is a great way to be a step ahead. With their names and the proper amount it will be easy to hand off at the end of the big day to caterers, Dj’s, etc. As for songs, the DJ or band will not have to guess what music you and your guests want to hear.
There are so many other last minutes details that can be forgotten so don’t be afraid to ask for help. Before you know it the season will be in full bloom and you will be able to start off with the love of your life.
